Recommended Web Hosting Companies in Nigeria 1

**updated list**

Are you looking for indigenous web hosting services in Nigeria?
Well, this is a good place to start your search.

One advantage and an obvious reason of opting for Nigeria based web hosting companies is that they accept payment in Naira. You either pay via bank deposit or instantly; this is a big deal in a cash dominated economy like Nigeria. You can as well pay instantly with your naira debit card.

Web hosting companies in Nigeria not only offer you convenient Naira payment but they are also economical. Most of them offer .ng domains, the country’s domain extension.

If you’ve searched nooks and crannies for this, here are a few recommeded Web hosting companies in Nigeria…  Listed in no particular order.
This hosting company supposedly a new kid in the block beat the aforementioned web hosting companies as the Best Local Hosting Company in Nigeria at NIRA Awards 2017.
Without saying much, I believe this is the most recommended web hosting company as at now. Prices starts from N250 to N6500 per month depending on the plan you choose.

This fast growing web hosting company is rapidly gaining customers and good reputations by the day since its launch in 2004.  SmartWeb offers starts from from 10GB to an unlimited disk space and 30GB monthly traffic to unlimited traffic, depending on your subscription package. It’s packages start from  3,000 to 50,000 Naira yearly.

This company have got some good reputation and history, thus they recommended. You will end up hopefully very satisfied with the services they offer. Offers starts from N6000 to N20,000 friendly and features website friendly.
Domainking.ngDomainKing is an amazing Nigerian web hosting Company. They have the industry best practises and knows how to satisfy clients – they were the first Nigerian web hosting company to open an active support thread in Nairaland (Nigeria’s forum,). They are both ICANN and Nira accredited and so can sell top-level domains.

Thanks for this information. I was looking to overhaul my site, strip it down and also change my host company. About smartweb, I can tell you they are almost down at least 3 times a day. That is horrible for business. That’s why i’m leaving them this month.

    Hello, thanks for the article.

I see that you added some good options to consider as a medium-high entrepeneur but what about Junior ones? I mean, I’m just a naive guy on this subject trying to get my starting jewelry shop online but my budget is quite limited as to carry the maintenance of what can turn to be a heavy-traffic website… I found there is a free Nigerian hosting which has a lot of features… I don’t know if you have tried it before or if there’s another list of your own about free sites but I’d be happy to check it! Cheers for the article
